The all new HP ProLiant SL250s Gen8 Server with HP ProActive Insight architecture delivers even greater levels of configurability for high performance and scale-out deployments, to help lower total cost of ownership.
Up to four ProLiant SL250s Gen8 nodes, in a 4U modular form factor, fit into the HP s6500 scalable system. In addition, each node can support up to three GPUs or four additional 2.5-inch hard drives.
The ProLiant SL250s Gen8 server includes the exclusive HP SmartMemory and delivers a 25 percent increase in memory bandwidth to improve performance for certain applications.
Delivering on the promise of server lifecycle automation, the ProLiant SL250s features the exclusive HP Active Health System that provides continuous, proactive, monitoring for over 1600 system parameters with zero impact to application performance.

This system is preinstalled with Windows 7 Professional software and also comes with a license and media for Windows 8 Pro software. You may only use one version of the Windows software at a time. Switching between versions will require you to uninstall one version and install the other version. You must back up all data (files, photos, etc.) before uninstalling and installing operating systems to avoid loss of your data.
